The Escort Airdrop is a support item in Survival.
Appearance[]
Unlike other airdrops, the Escort Airdrop summons an Osprey VTOL to the user's location, instead of an MH-6.
Overview[]
The Escort Airdrop delivers 3 item crates. One of the crates will always be Ammo, followed by a turret and weapon crate. It can thus provide supplies to the team quickly.
Additionally, the VTOL will also attack nearby ground enemies with its powerful autocannon. It will constantly engage until it leaves the area.
Benefits[]
Escort Airdrops, while costing lots of money ($15,000), can give multiple Weapon Crates as well as the benefit of Ammo. Not only does the Osprey also attack nearby enemies, but it can act as quick protection if being swarmed. In late waves, the protection of the autocannon alone should be a good reason to buy it.
